The pass rate statistics are not released to the public. Your score is not compared to others taking the test. Therefore, it is not graded "on a curve". The test is 200 questions in length and a committee establishes a minimum passing score. The committee bases this passing score off of how they feel a competent COA would perform on the same test. Therefore, the actual people passing or failing any one exam could, in theory, vary. In reality, the passing score is likely well over 80%.
